Doodle: Gods and Monsters II

~IV & XV~
Baal, the first fallen angle as mentioned in the Ars Goetia. It is said he is a King of Hell with sixty-six legions of demons under his command. Some sources say he is one in the same with Lucifer or Satan. It says he appears as a man, sometimes a cat or toad, of sometimes a combination of all three. For my drawing of him, I had originally gone with the toad, minus the human, but I wasn't pleased with it. On my second try I drew him as a well dressed man with a nail going through the face. I'm happier with the top one than the toad, but I didn't want to discard the toad right away. Instead I popped a human in his mouth for the entertainment of my more grizzly audience.

Max and S'kei. While I never intended for Max to be gay when I had originally created him, a good friend of mine, "S'kei's creator" feels that my homicidal fascist is a nice complement to his little snake Persona. While I do admit, being gay adds a nice little slap of hypocrisy to Max's already long list of ignorance and bigotry, it remains to be decided if Max while be gay or not for any of my productions. In the image I choose I did S'kei as a plucky young man, seemingly with out a care in the world, who is unaware of the lecherous gaze of Max.

~XIII~
The Pale Rider or the Four Horseman. While in most writings and images depict the Pale Rider as a skeleton or cloaked old man, I choose to go with a female version of the scythe wielding fiend. Admittedly, her costume was sort of tossed together rather quickly, I had planned long before to use a bandanna with the face of "Jack Skeleton" on it as a personal twist to the infamous ledged.

Chronos, Greek God of Time. It was said he was the very persona faction of time it's self. It is said that he appears as a three headed serpent; one head as a man's, another as a bull's and the last as a lion's or a serpent biting it's tail "Ouroboros". Some sources say he appears as snake coiled around an egg. For my form I chose once again to do the fancy dressed man, with the patterns of gears adorn on his clothing. I liked the mask I did for him, very mechanical I think.
