My submission for our Mascot contest being held over at 
. The rules clearly state have the pred/prey doing something relevant to the group's central theme, I guess sitting on a bed of Kale, apple in mouth, waiting to be devoured is some what relevant, right?
I may go back and do another, less cartoony version of this guy later down the line. Also, hopefully I can come up with a name soon.

I'm not sure what creature is he (or what creature did you use as an inspiration), but he looks so adorable there on that plate! (not to mention that you made him look extra yummy with that apple and salad there! 
) Some of the details and shades are really awesome there! 
What bugged me a little is that the salad itself doesn't have a shadow and it seems like the character is floating in the mid air, though there's a clearly visible background.
All in all, well done and really cute work!
